She finished 2012 with 21 goals and 28 assists and Mia Hamm was the only American woman to score 20 and 20 goals. It made her the 6th-youngest U.S. player ever to reach 20 goals in one season. She was awarded the U.S. Soccer Female Player of the Year and was a FIFA World Player of the The Year finalist. Morgan was also instrumental in the United States winning their titles at the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cups and the FIFA Women's World Cup in 2019. Morgan was selected to the Dream Team and won the Silver Boot in 2019.
