She was born Christina Haack in Anaheim, California on the 9th July 1983. Her first job out of school was working in the industry of real estate. This is how she met her future partner, Tarek El Moussa. They were very successful up until 2008, when the market plummeted and numerous house flippers and real estate investors were bankrupt. Tarek El Moussa almost wiped out due to the 2008 market crash. They moved from a home that cost $6000 per month, and then a house that cost $700 a month. Both their business and economy overall slowly regenerated. HGTV & Rise to Fame Tarek enlisted an acquaintance to make the audition tapes for HGTV that featured Christina flipping the property over from scratch. Pie Town Productions, a production company based located in New York City got the tape. The executives fell in adore with Tarek & Christina. They signed an official contract with HGTV in the year 2012. Flip of Flop was launched in April of 2013. In the seven seasons that ran from 2013 and 2017 the show ran 92 episodes. Christina and Tarek purchased properties located in Orange County that were usually mid-income homes. Then they spent a few weeks renovating the house so they could flip it for a profit. Tarek is primarily focused on construction and renovations and Christina oversees the design. Christina also makes sure that everything runs on time.
