Country-pop and actor writer Jana Kramer rose to fame in the world of television when she joined the team of One Tree Hill as Alex in its final three seasons. The show showcased her first release as a country artist, propelling her 2012 debut album to the Billboard 200 to the Top 20. Thirty One, her follow-up album, released in 2015, climbed in the Top Ten. The decade came to an end with appearances on Dancing with the Stars, TV films and non-album singles. Beginning in September of 2016 she stayed for two months in the 23rd season of Dancing with the Stars, which ended with an overall fourth-place finish. The same year, she had a hit adult contemporary hit song called Straight No Chaser's Feels Like Christmas.
