Awkwafina
Awkwafina is an American performer and actress. She began by releasing funny, well-written lyrics in rap that dealt with questions of racial identity and sexuality. Then she expanded her fans to Hollywood. Nora Lum was born to Chinese-Korean immigrants in Forest Hills Queens. Her first exposure to music was through the instrument of trumpet. Apart from classical music and jazz, the young Nora started to study hip-hop during her teens. While at school, she majored in journalism, and women's studies, and was taking classes in Mandarin in Beijing for a stint. Following graduation, she decided to pursue music as her main focus. Her song My Vag which was her response to the Mickey Avalon song My Dick, became a huge hit on the Internet and later appeared on her first LP Yellow Ranger. The album also contained also were viral songs like Queef (body-positive) as well as NYC Bitche$. The last track was closely linked to Awkwafina's NYC travel guide, which was published in 2015. After a successful career as a singer She chose to assume the role of actor. Her film credits include films like Neighbors 2 Storks as well as Bad Rap. The actress made headlines in the year 2018 when she appeared in a number of movies that were highly regarded, such as Dude Ocean's 8 as well as Crazy Rich Asians. The EP came out in June.
