After dropping out of school, she relocated to LA to pursue a career as an actor. Her debut as an actor was in the 2006 short Lucy's Piano. She played a major role as a character in 17 Again in 2009. She then appeared in Alice McKee playing the main part in the fantasy action film Blood: The Last Vampire. Her most notable TV appearance was in 2009, in the form of her lead character in Kings. She also appeared playing crucial roles in other series such as Terra Nova Go On and Selfie. She has played a lead character as a lead character in A Million Little Things, a family drama.
